Lillian Noel and Sissy reading Curious George...Lily LOVES books!
This is Lily's favorite toy right now...
...the colors, the sound...she loves it all!
so much fun!
"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:4-7

Christmas Parade!
Well, our city parade was a couple of weeks ago...our church won first place in the float competition. Although this is a little break from the usual, I thought you all might enjoy seeing some of the pictures of the place we live :)
Here's our church float!
Decked out with our own Abraham Lincoln....do you recognize him??
What, you may ask, is Abraham Lincoln doing in a church Christmas parade float? Well, our theme was 'Christmas through the ages'...and apparently everyone loved our float (thank you Penny)...and we got first!
Here are a few pictures of Lillian enjoying the festivities...only a few people tried to give her candy!

Dedication Pictures
Well, these are a long time coming! It's been awhile since I have posted anything....and I know you all are just dying to see more Lily! :) Here are a few pictures from her baby dedication....
There wasn't much left of the rose when Lillian was done with it!
And finally, here is a video of Mommy and Daddy serenading our most precious Lillian Noel...we didn't have much (any) time to put the song together...and as a matter of fact, Daddy and Mommy agree it's pretty butchered compared to the original version by Christy Nockels....BUT we decided to share anyway. I have posted the lyrics below....we changed a few words to fit Lily Noel just a little better...'the tenderness of God is rolling around in our living room tonight'....
Baby woman, tiny in stature now
But your heart is a treasure
Little princess come follow behind me
I am reaching for you
(chorus)
Lillian, God has answered my prayers
Lillian, God will conquer my fears
To mother a daughter, to look you in the eye
To know that I have everything to walk with you in life
To give you to Jesus that He would impart
The wisdom that I'm longing for to mother your heart
Lillian, God has answered my prayers
There will be others to lead and to guide you girl
But only one you'll call Mother,
The honor is all mine to show you what a woman's like
I'm so glad you're mine
(chorus)
Oh the tenderness of God
is rolling around In our living room tonight
She's lighting up her daddy's eyes
I know he just wants to freeze you in time
There wasn't much left of the rose when Lillian was done with it!

Daddy and Mommy Dedicate Baby Lillian Noel
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 NLT
“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
"Guide us Lord, that we may guide her...."

Christmas Traditions....
Brandon and I are all about traditions...carrying on old ones, and making new ones. We are SO VERY excited about this particular holiday season because we get to share it with our newest little family member :)
Last Saturday, Brandon, Lillian and I set up our Christmas decorations...and boy was it fun! (and tiring!)...Here are some pictures of the festivities!
AND we decorated the outside of our house...if I can figure out how to take a decent picture of a house at night...without flash...I will post it. Until then: Merry Christmas!!!

A few more!
Just catching up with some pictures....
I am sure that I will have a TON of pictures to post after Thanksgiving...and lots of stories to tell...but so far this month, it is pretty quiet on the home front. I am just going to post a few pictures with some captions so ya'll can see how big Lil's getting. :)
I love my Nana!
Lily grabs faces!! We are trying trying trying to teach her 'gentle'....she's getting a little better!
Lillian really likes Sadie...
Lily giving Sadie a kiss! (mommy says: ewww)
Sadie's just not sure how she feels about Lily...but Lily's sure how she feels about Sadie!!
Mischievous little girl!!
I love my Sissy!....and I love my lip!!!
Well, Lillian started on cereal on her five month birthday. I would share the video...but it's actually really boring...haha....I try not to be one of those parents...haha. SO instead I included a couple of videos of Lily laughing...who doesn't love to see baby Lily laugh?? :)
AND - Poppy made Lily laugh!!

Mommy's Civic Duty
....to teach Lily Noel how to VOTE! :) (see her tooth in this pic?)
We sat down at the voting table inside Monett First Presbyterian....and every time Mommy asked Lily 'who do we vote for?' Lily would look at me, then at the ballot, and then pound on the table with her fist...'Republican it is' Mommy said....and that's how our fun outing went :)
We had a lot of fun with the stickers....
we, of course picked up an extra sticker for her baby book :)
Mommy's Birthday...Lily's space ship!
Halloween!!
Our little Lillian was a butterfly for Halloween! I included some (a lot) of pictures...they're all so cute - I couldn't decide which ones to post!
We had originally intended to find a trunk or treat in PC or Monett...but we ended up just staying home and handing out candy - lots of fun :)
Lily LOVED her costume...I think it was because she liked sucking on the tab on her hat under her chin - ha! We took a ton of pictures...if you'd like to see any more, I'd be happy to email them :)
